Jump Rope for Heart is wrapping up! It's not too late to contribute to our school's efforts to fight the number one killer of Americans: heart disease. Visit to join our school team. We are so proud of our students for learning how to stay healthy and helping others by raising money for the American Heart Association. All donations are due Friday, February 23. VRB did a human bookworm during literacy week. To see over 1000 students reading at the same time was amazing!

2018-2019 School Year Controlled Open Enrollment

Applications are now available for parents who are considering enrolling their
children in a school other than their zoned school. Florida Statute 1002.31 requires
district school boards to adopt and implement a plan to allow a parent from any school in
the state to enroll a child in a school of choice.

The Controlled Open Enrollment (COE) application window for the Walton
County School District will be from January 3 – March 16. Parents/Guardians must
provide transportation to the COE school with available capacity.
Parents/Guardians may obtain an application at any school, on the district’s website, or
through the district office. To view Walton County School District’s Controlled Open
Enrollment Plan and Application for Attendance or to see a complete list of schools and
the capacity of each, please visit and click on the Controlled Open
Enrollment link.
