Van R Butler Elementary School is proud to announce the official release of the Florida Department of Education's Accountability Report where VRB once again earned a school grade of "A".
Elementary school grades are made up of several factors to include student proficiency (if students pass the test) and learning gains (if students make adequate yearly growth) in major subjects such as ELA (English Language Arts), Math, and Science.
VRB has been an "A" school for the past two decades. Dr. Hawthorne, Principal sated, "We are delighted to get the official results which match what we calculated. Being an "A" is not automatic. It is due to the dedication of the entire school community -- students, parents, teachers, and staff. Congratulations to everyone involved!"
