Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school beginning September 15th! This is a great opportunity to build your child’s home library with new books they’ll dive into again and again.
The easiest way to let your child shop the Fair independently is by creating an eWallet. It’s easy to set up and easy for others to add funds.
Create an eWallet, and you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to Share the Fair - the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the Fair empty-handed!

Your child will be shopping with his/her class during regularly scheduled library/media specials time. Feel free to join your child at that time for shopping or visit the book fair during Open House Night from 4:30 – 6:00 on Thursday, Sept. 18. If you can’t join us, use eWallet or put cash or a check in the provided envelope, and we will help your child shop at the Fair.
We are seeking volunteers! If you can volunteer to help shoppers during the book fair, please email me at: sheltonb@walton.k12.fl.us. You must be an approved volunteer with the district to assist at the book fair.
We are also seeking gently used book donations or monetary donations to our Share the Fair fund http://tiny.cc/sharethefair to help students who cannot buy books.
