School attendance is mandated by state law and essential to a student's academic progress. All students are expected to attend all classes each day that school is in session. Any time that a student is absent from school during school hours, a written, dated statement explaining the absence should be signed by the parent or guardian and filed at the school within three (3) school days upon return to school. When a professional note is required following a student's absence that is in excess of ten (10) days, the note must be submitted to the school within three (3) school days after the student returns. The school will not accept a professional's note after the three (3) days have passed.

If you plan for your student to be absent from school for 3 consecutive days or more, you must complete an Advanced Notice of Extended Absence Form.  Click on the buttons below to access the form and submit it to the teacher for administrative approval at least a week in advance.
