Walton County School District Summer SPICE Program
Walton County SPICE Summer locations will re-open on June 1st (Butler, Freeport ES and Maude Saunders) provided CDC guidelines allows us to do so. If the CDC Guidelines of Social Distancing have NOT been lifted by June 1st, we will limit enrollment to essential workers only. Once registration opens (May 11th- May 15th) we will offer a first come first served enrollment for the first 50 students of Essential Workers. The hours of operation will be 7:30 am – 5:00 pm for both the Summer registration and Summer SPICE. Lunches will be provided to Freeport Elementary and Maude Saunders sites. Parents will need to provide lunches for their children at the Butler location. Once the Social Distancing Guidelines have been lifted, we will open enrollment to all students Kindergarten through twelve (12) years old. Fees will not be refunded should your child(ren) be absent agreed upon days. If your child(ren) are absent for 2 calendar weeks, they will be withdrawn and the next person on the list will be invited into the program.
Safety Measures of Walton Summer SPICE Program
Student will be screened, and temperature checked daily when parent is dropping off.
Social Distancing measures will be in practice at all summer programs throughout the day.
Hand Sanitizing and cleaning of the facility will be performed periodically throughout the day.
All summer Field Trips will be canceled at this time.
