Free & Reduced Meals
Free & Reduced Meals
We have enjoyed serving all of our students lunch at no-cost to you for the past two years, but our current guidance from the USDA does not allow us to serve free meals to ALL students in the 2022-2023 school year. Free/Reduced Meal Benefits will be determined by application.
The Walton County School District offers healthy meals every school day. A well-balanced breakfast and a healthy lunch are essential for students to learn in a curriculum-rich environment. Our menus consistently change based on valuable input from students and parents. We are excited to provide excellent meal options for the 2022-23 School Year! Due to expired waivers, ALL free or reduced priced meals for the 2022-23 School Year will be application-based.
The WCSD Food and Nutrition Department is accepting free and reduced meal applications online! The online applications enable parents to complete and submit the applications faster, while allowing Food and Nutrition Services to approve the applications in a more timely manner. The application can be accessed from any computer with internet capabilities. Food and Nutrition services is happy to bring this technology to our families to ensure that students receive meal benefits as quickly as possible. The online applications are secure and the application is confidential. Please remember, if your child qualifies for meal benefits, these benefits are available for breakfast and lunch.
To receive free or reduced priced meals for your child, you must submit an application for this school year.
