Over Spring break, Paxton's first Spanish competition team competed in the Florida State Spanish Competition in Orlando, Florida. The students won various SOBRESALIENTES y SUPERIORES, which were the top TWO high ranks out of four that could be given. Students competed in individual impromptu speeches, poem recitations, and a skit. All activities were done completely in Spanish. Congratulations, Spanish students! Submitted by Kalli McMillan.

Some of Paxton's own, Kim Davenport (middle school Math), Angela Ellison (6th grade Math/Science/Reading), Jessica Cook (5th Grade), and Susan Rockman (US History/Avid), were recognized were being four of the highest impact teachers in the state of Florida. With this accomplishment, these four ladies have proven that they have the dedication and consistency to meet their own goals and help the students reach their goals. We appreciate everything you do and we are so proud you all are members of the Bobcat family.
